Choosing the Magellan Brand of GPS Navigation Units

Many of the more established GPS device marketers are making efforts to improve their wares. They are providing us with more advanced applications to make navigation easier for travelers who use wheels, hiking boots, or any other method of transportation available. While these companies are honestly intending to make most of the GPS devices accessible for the normal consumer, the consequence of all the technology contained in the product will naturally be rising costs. The best that most designers can do for the consumers who can’t pay for all the latest gadgets is to produce starter versions of the GPS devices so they will be affordable for Joe 6-cylinder. Another great model to consider is Magellan Roadmate 1470 Portable GPS Navigator.

Magellan GPS devices are rather distinctive since Magellan has always manufactured their most popular models to be reasonably priced as well as convenient. The negative aspect of affordability, logically, is that the latest technology is hardly ever found at reasonable prices. Consequently, the quality of Magellan’s devices has garnered mixed reviews. Magellan responded to this complaint with several high-end versions for the more dedicated GPS users.

Magellan Maestro

When you are shopping for an inexpensive buddy for your car, the Magellan Maestro series offers a number of units made just for car navigation. Magellan Maestro models come in the 3000, 4000, and 5000 range. Every one of the 3000 models are very reasonably priced with some such as the Maestro 3100 available at not quite $200 which is wondrously cheap for a GPS unit which offers 2-D and 3-D mapping capabilities. Perhaps their best ability is the QuickSpell feature, which allows uncomplicated input for street names.

Every other single aspect, including the performance is mediocre and hanging is all too frequent. With the exception of a few of the 4000 and 5000 versions, the Magellan Maestro is simply not reliable, but the price stays reasonable.

Magellan Roadmate

As suggested by their name, this collection of Magellan GPS devices are intended for cars too. However they are unlike their Maestro cousins in terms of appearance. Roadmates are constructed to be easier to carry, having a smaller footprint but keeping the same interface. Consequently the Roadmates are just as easy to navigate with and far easier to pack than the Maestros. A nice option is the Magellan Roadmate 1470 Portable GPS Navigator.

In the area of performance, the Roadmate is slightly improved with some styles such as the Roadmate 1212 offering the Centrality Atlas III Processor. If you enjoy playing with the menus, you would detect a slightly frustrating delay when pressing the buttons. The battery life isn’t remarkable either; it’s usable for around 3 hours until a recharge is needed.

On the upside, the Roadmate is regarded as superior to several of the Maestro budget models, displaying considerably more POI’s than the Maestro 3100 with its meager 750,000 points of interest. The Roadmate gets even with the competition by including over 6 million points of interest. Text-to-speech, which is always a welcome feature, is also included in some of the mid-range models. The price isn’t too bad either, which is remarkable for a slim device. Another good item to look into is the Magellan Roadmate 1470 Portable GPS Navigator.

Despite the fact that Magellan has merely two collections to pick from, they each have at least 10 models within each set in a range of different prices and functions. The lowest priced Magellan devices aren’t a good idea for constant users because of the occasional crashes, but high-end models are quite satisfactory and should be suitable for travelers to be pleased with.

Why Not Make Extra Money by Using Mobile Phone Recycling to Get Rid of your Old Phones?

Ever considered the benefits of mobile phone recycling? We all have a few old mobile phones, that we’re not likely to ever use again, stored away in a dark cupboard somewhere. Millions of people either upgrade their phones or buy newer models with better features all the time. What they don’t realise, at the time, is that they will never use their old mobiles again.

These people will soon see the benefits of mobile phone recycling and find that many stores will buy their old mobiles for cash. Why would you choose to store your old phones when you could make some money from them?

Reasons to Recycle your Old Mobile Phone

There are many reasons, other than money, to encourage mobile phone recycling. New mobile phone sales have increased astronomically over the last 10 years with billions of people either buying or upgrading their old ones for newer models.

As people get new mobile phones, their old ones are either stored away or tossed out. Try to visualise the number of old mobile phones that are hidden away in people’s homes or lying on the rubbish heap. No longer are any of these really an option, knowing that you can now earn a bit of money from your old mobile phones.

How to Sell your Old Mobile Phone

A mobile phone recycler will offer you more for your phone if it is newer and still working properly. More often than not, mobile phone recycling companies will sell your old phone to third world countries or strip them for spares.

Some would say you would be better served to sell your phone yourself and keep more of the profit. While this may sound like a viable option, you must remember that there are no guarantees of a sale.

Potential Sites

You will find there are many sites online that offer cash for old mobile phones. Some of them have teamed up with other retailers and sometimes offer you coupons instead of cash or even a mix of both. The offer you search for should be based upon your needs.

Should you plan to make a purchase from one of the companies offering vouchers then the voucher option is probably best for you as you’re more than likely to get better value for your old phone this way. Should you not need to buy from one of these retailers then it’s probably a better idea to look for the company that will give you the most money for your old mobile phone.

Recycling your Old Mobile Phone

Once you have found the right offer you will be required to complete an online form, describing the condition of the phone as well as some personal information. Once you have done this, you will receive a freepost bag from them which you can use to send them your phone. One important thing to consider is that there is no insurance on your phone unless you purchase ’sign for’ delivery and they will not be liable for it should anything happen.

After a short while, you should receive your payment. When they receive your phone it best be in the condition you reported online, otherwise they may make you a lower offer for it. Be sure when you get your phone ready to ship that you charge it completely, remove any pin or security codes and power the unit down.

Mobile phone recycling is a good way to get something back from your old mobile, especially if you have a few of them. Mobile phone recycling will not only allow you to free up some extra space but also to earn a bit of cash on the side!

Risks Associated with Arbitrage Sports Betting

Have you heard about arbitrage sports betting?  Well, this is actually an unknown technique of betting on sports that generated guaranteed profits regardless of the outcome of the sporting event.  Many professional bettors know this technique and they often use this as they take advantage of the fact that different bookmakers set different odds based on the opinion of the relative chance of the competitor for winning a single sporting event.

For a new kind of arbitrage betting system visit Free sports betting tips.

However, although arbitrage sports betting may guarantee a certain profit in theory, there are still some factors that could prevent the actual implementation of the arbitrage sports betting technique.  These factors may also impose certain risks to your arbitrage sports betting experience.

Let’s take a look at these risk-causing factors one by one.

Maximum Limits on Stakes

Many expert bettors agree that the maximum stake limits usually placed by the bookmakers may affect your arbitrage sports betting strategy.  It may even prevent you from placing your full stake while arbitraging, so before you place your bets, be sure to check that none of the bookmakers you have registered with in the arbitrage have a maximum stake limit.

Also, it is important to note and understand that all the betting exchange prices are subject to some kind of stake limit.Hence before you straightaway jump into the arena of arbitrage sports betting, check liquidity options at second and third prices in addition to the first price.  You can’t escape the fact that there are some instances in arbitrage sports betting that all your money at the best price gets hovered up.

Changes in Prices

Most of the sports books or bookmakers offer different prices for every sporting event.  So before placing your bets in a arbitrage sports betting, it is best to check first that the prices your bookmakers have offered are still available.  The main point here is not to depend on those bookies that hold their prices quoted in the Racing Post.   In addition, the prices on the exchanges can change very quickly, thus it is important to make sire that when considering arbitrage sports betting, you place any exchange bets first while the price is last.

Crooked Bookmakers

In today’s high tech world where sports books and bookmakers are everywhere, finding the most reliable arbitrage sports betting service can be difficult. You must have heard that a lot of websites have followed unethical practices in the past and have deprived the winners from their much coveted prize.

Given this fact, it is very critical for every bettor then to make sure that the site they are betting at guarantees the return of their winnings.  If possible, one should read the reviews first before deciding on a particular betting site.  Look for the rankings, and check the forums where most punters warn each other of the dubious bookmakers.

Arbitrage Sports Betting Rules

Usually, bookmakers maintain different policies and rules for setting bets on arbitrage sports betting with irregular outcomes.  This will of course affect the outcome of the arbitrage you are dealing with.  If this is the case, it is then best to check the rules maintained by the bookmakers before you place your bets with them.Just ensure that the bookmakers employ consistent policies for all the sporting events that you might be considering.

Finding Comprehensive Golf Tips Online

People have been fascinated with mastering the often frustrating game of golf ever since the game was invented back in the 15th century. The modern game of golf evolved into what we know it as today since 1750. But mastering the game of golf is still as difficult as ever, even though golf equipment technology and teaching techniques have improved greatly.

Fortunately, nowadays we have access to golf tips online through the Internet and golf tips online. I have played golf for over 30 years, but I struggled to master the game until I began researching online. With the many golf resources you can find online, it is now easier to discover the little “secrets” that can make a big difference with your game.

There are also many first-rate paid products, like golf instructional videos, golf swing training aids, and even a few golf e-books that can help you master the game. But, you can also find some valuable free golf tips online as well. Take into account that you will find many different techniques - especially as regards to the transition from back-swing to downswing and the golf grip.

Just try out the different techniques and see what works for you. The golf swing is a fairly complex movement and there are several styles; from the newer stack and tilt golf swing to the traditional swing. Some online golf tips tell you to grip the club tightly, firmly or even loosely. These terms are quite subjective as to the amount of pressure to use, so just experiment until you find the right grip - I prefer “firmly.”

When finding golf tips online, remember that there is more to golf than just the golf swing. Search for websites that show you the most all-inclusive golf tips. One of the most important areas of golf, that is often ignored, is the mental game of golf. You want free golf tips? First, learn to dominate your inner game of golf.

It is important to know what the right golf equipment is for your type of game (golf clubs and balls.) If you are a novice, look for clubs that are matched for the beginner golfer as they are more forgiving to miss-hits. Buy a driver and fairway woods with a graphite shaft, large titanium head, and perimeter weighting. For irons, choose iron shafts for accuracy, more sole weighting, and wider soles. For beginners or high handicap golfers, play a two-piece, mid spin, firm feel golf ball.

Look for golf tips online that cover the whole aspect of golf. Some of the things you need to learn are the grip; setup and stance; backswing, transition, and downswing; driving, fairway shots, chipping, bunker shots, and putting; course management; how to fix problems like the slice, hook, and pull / push shots; and the different trouble shots you will encounter - playing into the wind, deep rough, hill lies, and more.

Of course, you can pay a professional golf instructor to learn all these things, but you will end up paying a fortune for dozens of lessons. I would recommend starting out to learn as much as possible with free online golf tips. You could then take a few personal golf lessons and then visit the driving range to practice what you have been taught. Finally, get out on the golf course and play a round of golf - and remember, to master the game of golf, you need to practice - and have fun!

Aston Martin - Luxury Cars

Of all exotic sports cars and luxury vehicles, the Aston Martin is perhaps the best example of how an automobile maker can combine style, performance and luxury into on car. Aston Martin has been able to to that successfully since it's inception back in 1913. Early on it was clear that Aston Martin wanted to build fast cars and they were heavily involved in the early days of automobile racing.

Business has been challenging for Aston Martin over the years as they have had to overcome many obstacles that stood in the way of their success. Back on in the life of the group it was WWI that posed the greatest problem for Aston Martin, but when that was past, it was back to business. After going bankrupt in 1924 the company was purchased and continued on for only one more year before going bankrupt yet a second time!

Those early years were difficult for Aston Martin, but things were about to change. In 1947 the corporation was bought by a fortunate businessman named David Brown. It was during this time that the popular “DB” naming system started, named after David Brown. The first car to be produced under his leadership was the DB1, which was built from 1948-1950. At least 15 of these limited cars were ever produced previous the conception was replaced by the DB2.

The DB2 entered the scene and added a larger engine and 411 or these beautiful cars were produced between 1950 and 1953. Although the company was relatively successful at this point, financial problems were never far behind. In the 1970's the group was sold again a couple more times.

During the history, the Aston Martin brand was associated with the James Bond series of movies. In each film, Bond drove an Aston Martin, which helped with setting the automobile detached from other equivalent cars.

Fast forward in the mid 1990's and this is when Aston Martin precisely began to make a show. After being purchased by Ford, their sales went all over the roof. They went from producing solely 700 cars per year to over 2000 in only 2 years of Ford ownership. The DB7 was the car that took Aston Martin from obscure to a real contender in the luxury performance car market. It wasn't long before different variations of the car were produced, like the V12 Vantage and the Vanquish.

These beautiful cars made other luxury and exotic car makers take note. Aston Martin cars brought appeal and performance together like few other cars did. In 2003 the DB9 was introduced, which replaced the DB7 and it was other hit. The DB9 model also was available in a convertible version, called the DB9 Volante.

In 2006 Ford sold their stake in Aston Martin, but this didn't break the progress that was produced and the V12, Aston Martin DBS was introduced to retire the Vanquish S. The car made it's debut in the Bond movies called “Casino Royale” and audiences loved the car.

Aston Martin is the marker of exceptional luxury sports cars and if you ever have the opportunity to own or drive one, take full advantage of it!

The Top 3 Golf Bag Accessories

Playing golf is expensive; you have to buy all the essential golf equipment, golf accessories, and pay membership fees or green fees. Others will also spend money on professional golf lessons and other golf learning resources. But, there will no doubt always be something else that you “must” have - golf bag accessories for instance.

The following top 3 golf bag accessories are not necessary for everyone. Untidy golfers won’t want the first one, golfers that don’t travel to play golf in other parts won’t need the second one, and for those that play golf in cold climates might not need the third one.

Golf Bag Organizers

If you do find that you have no where suitable to store your golf bag and equipment, then you should get a golf bag organizer. A good golf bag rack will protect your valuable golf equipment by keeping everything in one place. When you go to play your next round of golf, you can just grab your golf bag of the rack and you are ready to go.

You will find that most golf bag organizers are sturdy, functional, efficient, and even stylish. They are either designed to sit on the floor or be hung on the wall, and hold one or two golf bags, along with various shelves for shoes, tees, towels, and whatever other gear you might want to keep handy. There are several styles and materials to select, like brushed nickel steel, walnut wood finishes, or even plastic.

Golf Travel Bags

If you do indeed travel with your clubs, whether it’s for an extended golf vacation, or a business excursion, it’s important to know that you’ve got everything you need to make your round enjoyable. To make sure all your gear arrives safely and intact, you will need a golf travel bag.

There are basically two types to choose from. The first is an all-in-one combo golf bag and travel bag. Many golfers like the ease and practicality of a special golf club travel bag that doubles as a travel case. The other type is for golfers that don’t want to un-pack their everyday golf bag and relocate everything into a travel bag. Alternatively, you can buy a quality travel case, and simply store your bag and golf equipment inside the case for travelling.

Golf Bag Coolers

A golf bag cooler is the last of my top 3 golf bag accessories. If you find yourself playing golf when it is over 100 in the shade, and you’re far from a beverage cart or water fountain, you can get an insulated golf bag cooler. These handy items are insulated, waterproof, and soft-sided, so they can be stored in any large opening in your bag.

Golf bag coolers come in different sizes that can hold from 6 to 12 cans of your favorite cold beverage. You can pack these watertight bags with ice, or you can use cooler packs that can be re-frozen for repeat use. Coolers come with a shoulder strap, so they can be carried as an all-purpose travel cooler, as well.

Whether you want to be a more organized golfer, take your clubs on your next golf vacations, or quench your thirst on the golf course, you will find that these golf bag accessories will be of use to you. By the way, if you play golf in Scotland or Ireland, you will need another golf bag accessory - a golf umbrella!

Golfing Gifts - 4 Of The Best Golf Gift Ideas

It often amazes me that some people struggle to come up with good golf gift ideas. I mean, we are not talking about a collector of expensive gold coins. We are talking about golfers and what they would like to receive. Golf & Gifts go together easily as there are so many options.

I have received plenty of naff golf gifts over the years. I have had to put up with embarrassing golf presents like bright coloured knitted golf club headcovers with a Christmas theme. So, to avoid anymore of these unwanted golf gifts, here are my top 4 types of golf gifts.

Practical Golf Gifts

The best golf gifts that you can buy are practical ones. All you have to do is check to see which brand and type of golf balls the golfer uses. Then you would buy a box of those golf balls or perhaps even buy some higher priced ones. Just make sure that you find out what golf ball specifications the golfer prefers – distance, medium feel, high spin, etc.

Another idea for the best golf gifts is to buy replacement brand name golf club headcovers. If the golfer uses Callaway golf clubs, for example, and the headcovers are worn and scuffed or just plain or mismatched, then you could buy some Callaway replacement headcovers.

Personalized Golf Gifts

If you want a more unique golf gift, then how about buying Personalized Golf Gifts. You will find many options of personalized golf equipment or accessories. The most popular are personalized golf balls, where you can usually have up to three lines of text imprinted on the golf balls of your choice.

Embroidered golf shirts, golf caps, and golf towels are other items of personalized golf accessories. You can also get personalized golf bags with two lines of text from the likes of Nike and Callaway Golf.

Golf Memorabilia

If you are looking for an unusual golf gift then you can’t go wrong with Golf Memorabilia. You need to make sure that the gift is certified and authentic golf memorabilia. Look for a guarantee and that every autographed product comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).

One of the companies to check out is Pro Sports Memorabilia. These are the guys to go to for peace of mind when it comes to guarantees and certificates of authenticity. You will surely find that unusual golf gift you were looking for and something that any golfer would be pleased to receive.

Corporate Golf Gifts

If you have your own company and are also a golfer, you have probably done some business on the golf course. Or, maybe you work for a company and you need to buy corporate golf gifts for some customers. Either way, your best option is to order some custom logo golf gifts.

Custom logo golf accessories are a great way to promote your business. You will be spoiled for choice though, as there are many golf products that can be customized. Again, the most popular is custom logo golf balls which can even have their own custom logo packaging. Other items include custom logo tees, caps, towels, divot tools, shirts, gloves and umbrellas.

So, there you have my top 4 golf & gifts ideas. You should be able to find the perfect golf gift from these ideas – whether it is for a friend, a loved one, or a business associate. Also, you can visit my golf site for more information on Golf Accessories and Gifts.

Free Fishing Course: New To Fishing? Give This A Try

Click Here To Get Your Free Fishing For Crappie E-mail Course

I sometimes reflect bacK to when I started fishing and wish I would of had the free online fishing course resources that are available today on the Internet. A free fishing course can help you start your fishing experience organized and loaded with great tips and techniques. When you start looking for a free fishing course to download or sign up for first identify what type of fish species you would like to target.

If you are a beginner angler check out your local area and find out what type of fishing is available. Then get on the Internet and search for free fishing e-mail courses for each of individual species you identified in your area. For example if you wanted to find a free crappie fishing course go to Google and search using free crappie fishing course in the search box. If you wanted to target catfish you could enter free catfish fishing course in the Google search box.

Look for a free fishing e-mail course that will send you a series of different leasons over a period of time, and make sure you save the e-mails for future reference. E-mail courses are great because they stage their information over a specified period of time. This allows you to absorb the information in pieces. It is much easier to reinforce your free fishing course information in pieces instead of trying to absorb an entire course at once.

A good free fishing e-mail course will divide each fishing tip into basic easy to understand steps. For Eaxample I would expect For example if I wanted to learn how to fish for crappie using jigs, I would expect a free crappie fishing course to explain in detail what a crappie jig was and what sizes and types were available to fish with. I would expect to tips on what type of rod and real i should use to fish crank baits, what type of line to use, and how to rig the crank bait. If the course is only one e-mail in length decline it. A free fishing course should be at least 6 to 8 e-mail segments in length. Each segment should explain in detail just one part in a free fishing course.

Each segment of the fishing course should also provide a list of all the free fishing course sections you will receive and when you can expect to receive them.

Remember in today’s world there is a wealth of free information available. So if you are new or an experienced fisherman just go to Goggle and enter free fishing course or a specific search by your preferred species of fish and you are on your way!
