Fathers Day Is June 20, 2010!

Father’s Day comes once a year on the third Sunday in June in America. This year, it takes place on June 20. Naturally, the holiday is celebrated in other countries too. People in India, the United Kingdom, Chile, Canada, France and Japan celebrate it on the same day as Americans. New Zealanders and Australians, however, celebrate it on the first Sunday in September. Scandinavians, Finlanders, Norwegians and the Swedish celebrate it on the second Sunday in November. There are also a handful of countries that use random dates.

This means crafters and other people worldwide are probably already searching the Internet for Father’s Day clip art. With so many card images available on the Internet, it’s simpler than ever to wish Dad a happy Father’s Day in style. Vintage cards are particularly popular for Father’s Day, because many dads are of a “vintage” that they would appreciate them. People also search for printable Fathers Day cards to make their own cards or for other uses, such as to make Father’s Day brunch invitations. People who are smart bookmark them so they don’t have to go searching for the graphics again the following year. Good free vintage graphics aren’t that easy to find, so it pays to think ahead.

Some want to give their dads more than a card but don’t have the money, so they’d probably search for Father’s Day gift certificate template. A certificate is great either with a card or instead of one and makes a nice no-cost Father’s Day gift. If you want to, you can always buy a frame to house the certificate. You can keep the cost down by buying an inexpensive one at a local dollar store. You father will never know it’s an inexpensive gift! And isn’t this special day all about honoring your father anyway? Your father will know it’s your love that’s important, not the cost of the present.
